Surrounding Area: Information

Jabuti is located in Murtais, between the villages of Fuseta and Moncarapacho. The holiday homes are on a small hilltop of 50 meters high with a beautiful view of the sea, the hills and the hinterland. Jabuti is a 5-minute drive from the beach, the fishing village of Fuseta and the Ria Formosa nature reserve (also known as the pearl of the Algarve). Faro airport is a 20-minute drive away.                                                                                                                                             The Eastern Algarve is known for its hills, small villages, long golden beaches, dotted with lagoons and sandbanks.

The coastal towns of the eastern Algarve are more authentic than those in the middle of the Algarve, which also means there is less mass tourism. 

                                  

There are plenty of activities to do in our area, such as;

  • Visit beautiful beaches
  • hiking or cycling in the Ria Formossa nature reserve
  • Supping, canoeing or kiting in the Fuseta lagoon 
  • Fishing, dolphin spotting
  • Visiting nice villages/towns (such as Moncarapacho, Olhão, Fuseta, Tavira, Santa Luzia, Sâo Bras, Faro, Castro Marim, Cabanas, Ayamonte, Loulé, Cacela Velha, Villa Real, Estoi, Santa Catharina)
